The “EURO-INBO” Group of European basin organisations for the implementation of the European Water Directives is INBO’s regional network on the continent.
Since its creation in 2003, EURO-INBO organises an annual international conference (in person in a different host country or online), to which a wide variety of partners are invited, such as representatives from European Union (EU) Member States, national and regional water directorates and administrations, river basin authorities and organisations, or EU candidate countries, etc.
The main objective of this time of exchange is to share experience and knowledge on different themes each year, linked to current European events, but always in line with the main mission of EURO-INBO, which aims to “improve the implementation of water policies and regulations in Europe, and in particular the common implementation strategy of the Water Framework Directive in the Member States of the European Union”.
