The importance of the Water Policy no longer needs to be demonstrated. However, its effective implementation is a challenge in most situations around the world. In order to answer the questions that many water professionals are asking, INBO has drawn up this manual on “water policing” on the basis of examples collected throughout the world, particularly thanks to the support of INBO’s regional networks.
The document provides essential recommendations on the fundamental themes of water policing, which are also illustrated by practical cases resulting from contributions from INBO members.
The handbook, launched at the World Water Forum in Dakar in March 2022, is initially available in French, English and Spanish.
