The Latin American Network of Basin Organizations (RELOB), created on 5 August 1998, is one of the regional networks of INBO (International Network of Basin Organizations).
IIt is a voluntary organisation whose main objective is to promote the global, integrated, coherent and sustainable management of ecosystems and water resources at catchment basin level in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The general objective of RELOB is to promote integrated management of water resources and ecosystems at basin level as an essential element of sustainable development.
Reorganised in 2011 at an Assembly in Panama City, it now has the Brazilian Network of Basin Organisations as its Permanent Technical Secretariat, with the presidency in Panama and the vice-presidency in Colombia.
